The growing recognition that too many children read poorly or scarcely at all has prompted an increase in our literacy distribution program.

Research has shown the importance for children to have access to books for successful reading development; the only variable that directly correlates with reading scores is the number of books in the home. Recent data shows the ratio of books to children in middle income neighborhoods is approximately 13 books to 1 child, while the ratio in low-income neighborhoods is 1 book to 300 children.

It is vital we purchase and distribute as many bilingual books to children to meet our book donation requests. Presently, we have immediate book request for San Antonio, Texas, Laredo, Texas, Naples, Florida, Ft. Myers, Florida, Phoenix, Dubuque, Iowa, Nixa, MO, Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, Reno, Nevada, Guatemala.
